How can you incorporate more self-care into your life?

I did a self-care Sunday series on the 8 Dimensions of Self-Care a few months ago. In this episode, I’m joined by the author of that framework herself, Stacy Fisher.

Stacy is talking about what self-care is and how to discover what it means to you. She’s walking us through the 8 Dimensions of Self-Care framework and breaking down each dimension so you can start thinking about what they might look like in your life.

Running a wedding business requires a lot of you, and prioritizing self-care is essential not only for your well-being but also for the success of your business.

Stacy is a registered dietitian, diabetes educator, and published author with more than 20 years of experience in health care. As the creator of the 8 Dimensions of Self-Care framework, she helps clients establish a foundational self-care plan to achieve their health and nutrition goals.

Topics We’re Covering in This Episode:

  • What most people don’t know about self-care
  • Tuning out other people’s opinions on what self-care is or isn’t
  • Allowing your self-care to evolve
  • The 8 Dimensions of Self-Care
  • How to know where to focus your time and effort when you’re working on self-care
  • Why it can be helpful to change up your self-care rituals
  • How self-care involves other people

There’s no wrong way to do self-care. One small gesture of kindness to yourself can be all it takes. I hope that as you listen to this episode, you’ll think about how it applies to you and what you can do to make sure you’re looking after yourself first.
