You can have a solid strategy and still feel like something isn’t working.

Maybe you’ve followed the advice. Built the offers. Created the systems. Set the revenue goals. Made the marketing plan.

And yet, something still feels off.

That’s where the distinction between traditional business coaching and Business Intuitive Coaching becomes useful.

Both can help you build a stronger business. The difference is largely in what information is included when deciding what that stronger business should look like.

What Does a Business Coach Do?

A business coach generally helps business owners improve areas such as strategy, goals, revenue, leadership, marketing, operations, accountability, and growth.

Depending on the coach, that might include creating a business plan, identifying priorities, improving profitability, strengthening leadership, or developing a strategy for growth.

That work can be incredibly valuable.

But sometimes the question isn’t simply:

What’s the best strategy for growing this business?

It’s:

Is this even the business I want to keep growing?

That’s where my approach starts to look different.

What Is a Business Intuitive Coach?

Business Intuitive Coaching brings the person running the business into the strategy.

In my work, that means considering four things together:

Human Design — How you’re designed

How you naturally make decisions, use your energy, communicate, lead, and interact with opportunities.

Intuition — What you know

The internal information and instincts that are easy to ignore when you’re surrounded by other people’s advice.

Strategy — Where you’re going

Your goals, business model, offers, revenue, marketing, priorities, and opportunities.

Systems — How it works

The processes, boundaries, team, delegation, workflows, and operational structure that make the strategy sustainable.

The goal isn’t to replace strategy with intuition.

It’s to use both.

So What’s the Difference?

I’d include a simple comparison:

Traditional Business Coaching May Start With Business Intuitive Coaching Also Asks
What are your revenue goals? What do you want that revenue to make possible?
How can we grow? Do you actually want to grow this way?
What strategy should we use? Does this strategy fit how you work?
What should you delegate? What work do you actually want to keep?
How can we increase capacity? Do you want more capacity or fewer demands?
What’s the next opportunity? Is this opportunity right for you?
What does the data tell us? What do the data and your internal signals tell us?

A Real-World Example

Two business owners can come to me with exactly the same problem:

“I’m at capacity.”

For one owner, the answer may be:

Hire.

Document the systems.

Delegate delivery.

Increase capacity.

Grow.

For another, it might be:

Stop selling one offer.

Increase pricing.

Take fewer clients.

Simplify the business.

Create more space.

Same problem. Completely different strategy.

That’s why I don’t believe there’s one business formula everyone should follow.

Which Type of Coaching Is Right for You?

Traditional business coaching may be exactly what you’re looking for if you primarily want help implementing a specific strategy, reaching a defined goal, or building accountability around an existing plan.

Business Intuitive Coaching may resonate if you’re asking bigger questions such as:

What do I actually want now?

Does the business I’ve built still fit me?

Why do strategies that work for other people keep feeling difficult for me?

How can I grow without sacrificing the life I’m trying to create?

How do I trust myself more when making business decisions?

What would my business look like if I stopped building around what I should do?

Closing

You don’t have to choose between intuition and strategy.

You don’t have to choose between systems and freedom.

And you don’t have to build your business according to somebody else’s definition of success.

The question isn’t simply:

What’s the right business strategy?

It’s:

What’s the right strategy for you?

Because there isn’t one right way to build a business.

There’s a right way to design yours.
