Who am I? I am a business owner for 17 years and for 15 of those years as the owner of Taylor’d Events Group. I am a widow, I love to cook/grill and go out wine tasting with my honey, and have girlfriend dates with my ride or die, ladies. I travel around the West Coast and go to Maui any chance I get! I am getting into photography and learning how to use the smoker I got my husband, if you have a tried-and-true smoked salmon recipe send me a note! Some of my personal goals are to cook out of 1 cookbook a month and photography weekends! I love watching the Seahawks, Mariners, and hopefully the Sonics one day.
So what is my superpower? People have called me a “taskmaster”. I choose to think I am someone who can help my clients move forward and help them experience more freedom and abundance through systems, strategy, and workflow. I provide guidance and a strategy to allow them to be visionary/creative in their business. I help in the areas of their business they resent and lost the energy for. How I do that is to provide the company and their team, a strong manager, making sure day-to-day tasks run smoothly, that there is consistency in the business.
I know you want to be able to enjoy all the reasons you started your business in the first place, instead of putting out fire after fire. In order to do that, you need systems and growth strategies that turn your business from a creaky rust-bucket into a well-oiled machine. The problem is there are a lot of “unsexy” tasks that need to get done. And since you’re not sure how to best automate or outsource, you’re left grinding away day after day.
I believe it doesn’t have to be so complicated. I understand how you feel and know it may not be “fun” for you to establish business procedures that fully support your success and growth. But lucky for you, that’s what I love to do!
