What is self-care and what does it look like for you as someone in the wedding industry?

Self-care is multidimensional; it goes beyond facials and pedicures, but it can be hard to figure out what to do for yourself besides putting on a face mask! And if you’re like me, you might find this concept a little difficult to grasp.

In this episode, we’re discussing multidimensional self-care and how to integrate it into your life. I’m going over 8 areas of self-care and sharing what I try to do to take care of myself in each of them.  I’m not always good at these things, but hopefully, my examples will get you thinking about what might work for you too and we can work on them together!

If you have a hard time figuring out what self-care looks like for you on a more meaningful level, this is for you.

Topics We’re Covering in This Episode:

  • What self-care can look like
  • The benefits of self-care
  • Systemic self-care in relation to your physical health
  • Taking time for your emotional expression
  • How to illuminate your inner truth
  • What finances have to do with self-care
  • How learning and problem-solving can be self-care
  • Making meaningful contributions to the world
  • Why delegating is an act of self-care
  • Taking care of your relationships
  • Being in an environment that brings you joy

Self-care should be for your whole self, so I hope this episode helps you come up with some ideas about how to practice deeper self-care in your life.
